Mr. Malnarick started with Affinor as the COO and VP of Operations in 2014. In that role, he was responsible for managing all agriculture technological development, feasibility studies, facility construction, patent publication, and delivering innovative agricultural solutions for unique applications. As a graduate from the University of Victoria in Biological Sciences, he has held various executive positions in the agriculture, pharmacy, natural health, manufacturing and retail industries. Over the course of his professional career, Jarrett also ran his own successful consulting company advising various clients ranging from start-up to established companies seeking growth opportunities. As a hands on consultant, he has successfully implemented various operating and quality systems, compliance management integration and product certification for clients needing various certifications and regulations including ISO, CSA / UL, Health Canada, ACMPR, Coastal Health, CFIA, cGMP, Organic Certification and GPP / GAP. He has also built various practical business models such as operating budgets, revenue models, facility and process design for with full implementation once financed. Jarrett's consolidation of regulatory and technology commercialization experience, as well as, hands on approach getting start-up companies to revenue with focused business plans, strategic budgeting, financing, marketing and sales will help bring Affinor into the market as a leader in agriculture technology.
Mr. Brown has assisted in the successful establishment of several private and public companies. In the public company sector, Mr. Brown has played key roles in the success of several companies which his team at Pacific Opportunity has listed on the TSXV, the TSX and the NYSE Mkt Exchanges. His corporate focus is merger and acquisition transactions, financing, strategic corporate planning, and corporate development. One of the companies founded by the team at Pacific Opportunity was built into a plus $500 million market capitalization entity and his team has had many smaller successes over the past 20 years. Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993, while working with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver. Mr. Brown's family history includes having run large greenhouse operations near Vancouver for many years as Brown Brothers Florists and he looks forward to working with the team at Affinor in working to modernize these processes.
